The developers of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 have revealed some of the prominent mortal characters who will appear in the game, including a few who debuted in the game’s pre-reboot trailers.
The protagonist of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is, naturally, a vampire. This means they’ll need humans around, as blood is their food source. The Kindred must feed carefully, as letting mortals know of the existence of the undead is a huge no-no, as it’s a rule that’ll get the protagonist killed if they ignore it too much.

The selection of humans revealed so far offers some tantalizing glimpses at the Seattle nightlife. They include:
- Pandora Greaves – A woman who may have unwittingly stumbled upon the secret of the Kindred – a very dangerous place to be.
- Verona De Lancey – A woman who seeks the player’s help after receiving a death threat.
- Dale Beecher – A character who appeared in some of the game’s earliest trailers, Beecher is aware of vampires and likely deals in Thin-blood potions.
- Mr. Lemon – A guy who woke up in the drunk tank, talking about fruits.
- Guru – A biker who claims to be able to see ghosts.
- Carla – A former paramedic who now wanders the streets helping the needy.
- Reggie – A homeless man who keeps his ear to the streets.
- Marigold – A working girl with a passion for astrology.
- Shelby – A former day trader who found religion and now preaches about the upcoming Rapture.
- Officer Wheeler – A police officer with memory issues, likely caused by vampiric Disciplines.
Pandora seems like a strong candidate to become ghoul, where a Kindred gives a human their blood, turning them into addicts, while also offering a taste of their immortality and supernatural powers.
