Xbox promises new information on four upcoming games. One is being teased as a mystery, but there are whispers concerning its identity.

The Developer Direct will be held on Thursday, January 23rd, at 1:00 PM Eastern and will be streamed on all Xbox channels, including YouTube and Twitch.
Past Developer Directs from Xbox include the surprise release of Hi-Fi Rush in 2023 and the gameplay reveal of Indiana Jones last year.
What Games Can We Expect at the January 2025 Developer Direct
With only four listed games, one of which, again, is a mystery reveal, we’re expecting a lengthy deep dive into every game showcased in the upcoming Developer Direct.
First up, Bethesda and id Software promise a “full game reveal” of their upcoming prequel DOOM: The Dark Ages. Following the success of DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, The Dark Ages takes players back to the Doom Slayer’s origins in a medieval setting.
Nvidia recently announced DLSS 4 support at launch for DOOM: The Dark Ages while also teasing more gameplay ahead of its reveal later this month.
