Techland, the studio responsible for developing the series, has announced that owners of Dying Light 2 Stay Human Ultimate Edition will be receiving a copy of the upcoming game at no extra cost.
It was also revealed how Dying Light: The Beast initially started as a DLC before it was eventually made into a standalone title instead.
As the studio promised earlier, Dying Light 2 will still receive post-launch support content, including content drops and events.
The game was officially announced for the first time during the Gamescom Opening Night showcase, with Geoff Keighley posting a teaser about it a day before the live stream.
