Treyarch has confirmed that the long-awaited tracked challenges feature is in the works for Black Ops 6. This system was popularized in Modern Warfare 3, allowing you to monitor your camo challenge progress without the time-consuming checks.
The confirmation came as a response to a fan on X after the studio published Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Patch Notes for Season 01 that is rolling out to all platforms. It offers a sigh of relief for the Call of Duty community after months of frustrations and countless trips to the main menu to check progress.

Track Camo Challenges with Ease in Black Ops 6
If the currently-in-development tool works like MW3, you should be able to track up to three challenges, which is handy for the Black Ops 6 camo system. From the elusive Mastery designs to Military camouflage, you will no longer have to conduct tedious manual checks or juggle mental notes.
For camo grinders, the tracker’s importance cannot be overemphasized, especially when completing the quests for the over forty weapons and unlocking the flashy Diamond designs in BO6. That is no small feat. Luckily, having this tool will undoubtedly make these tasks more manageable, if not enjoyable.

Exciting Quality-of-Life Updates Coming to Black Ops 6
The weapon skins tracker is not all Treyarch has in store. They’ve teased separate HUD settings and another quality-of-life update for Zombies and Multiplayer. So, if you‘re used to bouncing between these two modes, you will no longer tire of reconfiguring their settings every session.
The recent patch also brings several changes to the gameplay. For example, Zombies’ Shadow Rift Ammo Mod got a powerful boost, including faster activation rates and shorter cooldowns. The fast-paced glory has also returned after the unpopular Direct Mode adjustments were reverted.
Black Ops 6 Season 2 will drop on January 28, 2025, with more improvements and updates expected along the way. Fingers crossed, the camo tracker makes the cut!.
