Asro Bot, the beloved PlayStation 5 platformer, is dropping five new challenge levels starting today. Unlike the regular fresh updates, such as the recent holiday-themed Winter Wonder update designed for all skill levels, this expansion brings stages that require significant experience.

Developer Team Asobi announced the new levels coming to a fresh in-game area called the Vicious Void Galaxy. The first level, Tick-Tock Shock, is now live with the rest expected to roll out every other Thursday.

“You might have noticed that a, yet unreleased, level of Astro Bot was featured at the PlayStation XP Tournament Final in London, England on January 18. That very level, along with 4 additional ones will be coming your way inside the brand-new Vicious Void Galaxy, starting today,” read the statement in part.

Following the success of Astro Bot, Sony wants to release more family games on PlayStation devices.

Astro Bot New Levels Release Schedule

Each of the five upcoming levels is completely free and introduces unique hazards and platforming obstacles. You also get a new special bot to rescue.

Today’s new level is the Tick-Tock Shock, which features electric ropes, robotic fish, and crumbling ice platforms. The rest will be available on the following dates:

February 20: Thrust or Bust
February 27: Cock-A-Doodle-Doom
March 6: Hard to Bear
March 13: Armored Hardcore.

Thrust or Bust has gravity-defying challenges and requires fast-paced navigation, while Cock-A-Doodle-Doom is a wild, high-flying adventure. On March 6, you immerse yourself in the Hard To Bear level that features Crash Bandicoot-style obstacles. Lastly, you reach the high-difficulty finale, the climactic Armored Hardcore.
