Live services games often tend to have multiple currencies, whether it is Valorant with its Valorant Points, Radianite Points, and Kingdom Credits, or Marvel Rivals with its Chrono Tokens, Units, and Latice.

So, if a game is free-to-play, you should expect multiple currencies to also be present in it. Especially the premium ones, as they are needed for the developers to earn and keep the game running.

However, what separates FragPunk from other games in this genre, is, instead of having 3 to 4 different currencies, it has 11 of them. This is after excluding the ones that are exclusive to certain events.

So, if you are having a hard time keeping track of what type of money can be spent on what. Here is a complete explanation of how you can earn and use every currency in FragPunk.

All Currencies In FragPunk Explained

The currencies in this game can be sub-categorized into 5 types:

• Main Currencies: This includes Gold, Glunite Coins, and FragPunk Coins. You can get them by mostly playing the game, converting them, or buying them.
• Gacha Currencies: There are two types of cans in this game. Opening these cans gives you rewards or different currencies that you can spend in their respective shops.
• Shop-Exclusive Currencies: In the Redeem tab of the Store, you can spend these currencies on their respective tabs for Exclusive Prize Pool, Membership, Battle Pass, Ranked, and Club.
• Skin Keys: These are keys that you can use to upgrade the skins that you own for your Lancers or Weapons.
• Event-exclusive Currencies: These should change with every event.

Now that you have a basic overview of them, here is how each of them works:

Gold

Gold is FragPunk‘s most important currency and one you should focus on earning. Especially if you are a free-to-play player. There are many ways to earn it, but the simplest one is to complete matches while getting as many kills and assists as possible.

Gold can be used to unlock Lancers. You can also use them to buy FragPunk Relics, to get Curiosity Pop Cans and Sword of Justice Sticker Packs. Gold is also necessary to fuse stickers.

Glunite Coins

This is the second most important currency in the game if you are interested in cosmetic upgrades.

Just like Gold, you can earn them for free by playing matches. Although there is a huge difference in drop when comparing the two. For example, if you earn 150-200 Gold per match, you can expect the Glunite coins to be around 8-20.

Luckily, this isn’t the only way to earn them. You can always buy FragPunk coins and convert them to Glunite Coins.

Additionally, you can also exchange Club Supplies for it. 38 Club Supplies give you 100 Glunite Coins, and they can be exchanged 20 times each month.

These coins can be used to get common weapon skins, lancer skins, original pop cans, gestures, sprays, and spotlights.

FragPunk Coins

This is the game’s premium currency. You have to spend real money to get them. They start at 95 FragPunk Coins for $0.99 and go all the way up to 10,800 FragPunk Coins for $99.99. The costlier bundle you go for, the more bonus coins you get with it.

You can spend FragPunk Coins to quickly unlock Lancers. It can also be used to purchase the Battle Pass, or to get other premium cosmetics and items that the other currencies cannot buy you.

For example, you can use 50 FragPunk coins to buy a Rename card. It lets you change your username once.

Original Pop Can

This is one of the two main Gacha currencies in this game. For players who have played Genshin Impact, you can think of this currency as Acquaint Fate and the banner as Wanderlust Invocation.

You can get Original Pop cans from the Items tab in the Store. Each Can costs 300 Glunite Coins. As for spending them, click on the Curiosity Prize Pool window on the home screen. Now, click on the Original Prize Pool to spend these cans.

Its rewards include Lancer Skin keys, Weapon Skin keys, Curiosity Pop cans, weapon charms, weapon skins, Glunite coins, firecrackers, and stickers.

Curiosity Pop Can

This is FragPunk’s premium Gacha currency. For another Genshin comparison, these are somewhat similar to Intertwined Fates.

As for the banner, you can think of Constellation as the 5-star character banner that refreshes every new patch in Genshin Impact.

You can get Curiosity Pop cans from the Item Store. Free-to-play players are short on luck as they can exchange 10,000 Gold for 1 can every month.

After that, they will have to rely on their luck to hopefully get it from the Original Prize Pool. Aside from that, you can buy them for 166 FragPunk coins each.

You can use the Curiosity Pop cans in the Constellation banner. Its rewards can be Ultimate Materials, Striker Constellation Knife, and Glunite coins. It also lets you get weapon charms, weapon skins, Lancer skins, sprays, and emotes of different rarities.

Ultimate Material

Ultimate Material is the repeat rewards currency that you can earn by spending Curiosity Pop Coins in the ongoing gacha banner in FragPunk.

You either have a chance to get 100 Ultimate Materials as a reward, or you can get one whenever you get a duplicate reward that you already own.

To use it, go to the Redeem tab in the Store. In the Exclusive Prize Pool Section, you can find several rewards, like Striker-Constellation, a basic decoration pack, a few weapon charms, and some weapon skins.

You can spend Ultimate Materials on any of these items that you like.

Membership Pick

As the name suggests, this currency is for players who either have the game’s monthly or annual membership.

These picks can be exchanged for exclusive weapon skins, curiosity pop cans, weapon skin keys, and Lancer skin keys.

Battle Pass Tokens

This is a nice reward for players who have completed their Battle Pass. You can earn these tokens repeatedly. It gives you 100 Battle Pass Tokens every time you get 10,000 XP.

In this shop, you can use these Tokens to buy Lancer and Weapon Skin keys, decoration packs, sticker packs, Original Pop cans, and Gold.

The Skin Keys and Original Pop Cans are the ideal items that you should spend your Battle Pass Tokens on.

Ranked Coins

As the name implies, you earn these coins from playing ranked matches. Ranked mode unlocks after you reach account level 30.

In the Ranked section of the Redeem Store, you can spend these coins to get golden or silver weapon skins. The primary weapon skins cost 1000 Ranked coins and secondary weapons (except for Cure-All, Vicious, and Cold Shoulder) cost 300.

Club Supplies

Club Supplies are similar to Membership Picks in terms of how they work. The good news is, you don’t need a subscription for it; rather, you need to be a part of some club.

After you join one, you have to complete the necessary daily and weekly challenges to earn Club Supplies.

These coins can be spent on sticker and decoration packs, Curiosity Pop can, Lancer and Weapon skins, and Glunite coins.

Lancer And Weapon Skin Keys

Valorant players should be familiar with this currency as it works very similarly to Radianite Points.

In FragPunk, there are skins of varying rarities. So if you want to upgrade or get more customization options for Superb or Extreme rarity skins, you will need these Lancer or Weapon skin keys.

There are several ways to redeem them, like by using Club Supplies, Battle Pass Tokens, Membership Picks, Original Pop Cans, or Curiosity Pop Cans.

Event Exclusive Currencies

Currently, you can earn Porcelain Shards and points by completing the various challenges specific to this event. You can check the Porcelain Hunting tab in Challenges to find the tasks that you need to complete.

Here, you not only get Shards and other rewards for completing the daily challenges, but after you earn enough points and reach certain milestones, you can get stuff like Lancer Statues and Curiosity Pop Cans.

You can then spend the shards you collected from the Porcelain Exchange section in the Hot Events tab. Here you can buy the Porcelain skins of your favorite weapons or use your shards to obtain Lancer or Weapon skin keys.

Lancer Statues

Last but not least, we have Lancer Statues. Compared to all the previous currencies, this doesn’t exactly have a guaranteed method for you to earn.

However, you can expect it as a reward during events. Currently, you can get one as the second day daily login reward and from the Porcelain Hunting event at 1200 points. You can use these statues to unlock lancers without spending Gold or FragPunk coins.
