Treyarch has kicked off the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 115 Day celebrations, bringing a deluge of rewards and exciting updates for players. From now on until January 21 at 10 a.m. PT, you will be treated to a mystery box event full of surprises and double rewards across categories.

Some of the crucial features to find in the box include the special Quad Feed XP that spews double rewards for your Battle Pass XP, Weapon XP, and more. The event also brings a new Directed Mode that lists your on-screen objectives to help you complete quests faster.

Black Ops 6’s New Season 2 Map, The Tomb

The developers also went out of their way to highlight the quality of life updates and surprises coming in Season 2. The standout was a new map, “The Tomb.”

The Tomb takes cues from the success of Citadelle des Morts in Season 1 and features the same characters. This time, though, you will be exploring a tightly spaced catacomb and clearing the waves, reminiscent of Liberty Falls.

The iconic SMGs in Zombies history will be making a return in this map, alongside the debut of a reimagined Black Ops 6-themed Wonder Weapon. Besides the gameplay tweaks and the new map, Season 2 addresses high requests from the community.

Some of the now-fixed sticking points include the disruption to progression after players are kicked out for being AFK. Treyarch has added a new AFK Kick Loadout Recovery feature to help you rejoin the game in this case. Co-op pause, separate HUD presets, and challenge trackers will also be enabled.

Black Ops 6: Season 2 will go live on January 28, 2025.
