Bessel System On The Galaxy Map & Bessel III-B On The System Map

Bessel III-B is a moon located in the Bessel system. It is located up and slightly to the left on the galaxy map from the Alpha Centauri and Sol system, right next to the Piazzi system. It is a moon of the planet Bessel III, which is the third planet from the sun. Like the rest of the system, this moon and its orbit have a recommended level of 10.

What’s On Bessel III-B

Bessel III-B Being Scanned

While not the same for all players, Bessel III-B has the potential of having a Starborn Temple on the surface. As players progress through the Constellation storyline, this planet may eventually come up as a required moon to visit. In orbit over this moon is also the potential of spawning the Mysterious Ship that houses Juno’s Gambit quest.

While those are randomized reasons to visit the moon, the real selling point is the incredible amount of resources to farm: water, nickel, iron, argon, aluminum, cobalt, platinum, and neon. For those well-versed in outpost building, this is a prime moon to set up an outpost that farms materials, as much of the planet is covered in resources with many locations to mine multiple resources at once with a single outpost.
