What Is Pirate Jetsam?

Pirate Jetsam is an item that can be found floating in the Meridian Ocean region of the game. This is where you can find Gilgamesh Island and other fascinating optional content. In order to reach the region, you need to reach Chapter 12, which is when the region will suddenly appear, allowing you to take the Tiny Bronco into the ocean. Once you are in the region, you will spot barrels floating in the ocean. If you ram into them with the Tiny Bronco, you will be able to obtain whatever is inside. If you get the Pirate Jetsam item, all you will be told is that it is a crafting material, leaving more questions than answers.

How To Use Pirate Jetsam

In order to use Pirate Jetsam, you will need to use the Item Transmuter. This will allow you to craft new items or add upgrades to existing items. If your Craftmanship is high enough, you can use Pirate Jetsam to acquire 3 new armor pieces and enhance other armor pieces. Here’s a list of the new pieces:

How To Find Pirate Jetsam

If you’re having trouble finding Pirate Jetsam and want to be able to get more, you can craft an item to help out with that. You can do the side quest “Pirate King’s Treasure,” which will lead you to different Pirate Relics. Then, you can combine them all together to create Corsair’s Compass. When you equip this item, it will partition your ATB Gauge into 3 segments after using 5 different types of commands. Additionally, you will now see a glowing gold orb around the Tiny Bronco, pointing to any nearby Pirate Jetsam. This is the perfect way to ensure you are able to farm all the material you need.
