Starfield: How To Enter SY-920

Despite Starfield’s incredibly open galaxy to explore, there are a few locations players can’t walk right into; here’s how to enter SY-920.

Starfield’s galaxy quickly opens up and gives players the ability to travel just about anywhere, with the only thing holding them back is how far their current ship’s engine can take them. While so much of Starfield revolves around free-roaming, it may be a surprise to many when the space station SY-920 can’t be entered.

How To Enter SY-920

Starfield The Crimson Fleet faction gameplay

SY-920 is a secret UC research station that no one can just dock at. To board this space station, players will need to join the Crimson Fleet and proceed to the fifth mission in the quest line. This is the fifth quest in the faction, and this quest will require players to board the space station. The rest of the quest will then have players sneaking around on the station, and it will also be the only time they ever visit the station.

After completing the mission and leaving the station, players will never be able to return and board the station. During the mission, be sure to loot as much as you’d like, as there will never be a chance of coming back to loot the station after the quest is finished.

What’s On SY-920

The Unique Piloting Suit From SY-920

SY-920 is mostly full of UC scientists and marines. Lots of weapons and gear can be found aboard, all of which are worth taking at least to sell beforehand, making it a good option to completely empty your inventory except for your essential gear before boarding. The most important thing to look out for is the Refined SY-920 Pilot Suit. This is a fairly powerful spacesuit, but it is also one of the rarest spacesuits in the game, as this is the only place to get it.
