Wuthering Waves Just Might Be The Next Genshin Impact

The long-lost sci-fi brother of Genshin Impact will soon enter closed beta.

“We understand that this has affected your gaming experience, and we are working to improve it for those who love the game,” the post continues. The blog then lists some of the community’s concerns about certain aspects of Wuthering Waves and outlines how Kuro will address these criticisms.

The ‘Echo Development’ system, deemed too grindy by players, is being reworked. However, in the meantime, a double-yield event entitled ‘Chord Cleansing’ will be active, allowing players to progress much faster.

A bug with the Echo recycling system caused players to earn fewer Shell Credits than the system intended. Kuro Games apologised for the “improper way of handling the situation and inconvenience caused” and is providing 1 million Shell Credits to every player.

There are additional issues addressed by Kuro, like a mistranslated weapon description and the duration concerns with a live event. You can read the full blog post here.

“We are committed to listening to every single piece of feedback, continuously organising optimising, and resolving these issues to make Wuthering Waves better,” the end of the post reads.

“Since Wuthering Wave’s official global launch, we have been disheartened by our inability to provide a high-quality gaming experience to all Rovers. We understand that continuously releasing better versions and content is our goal and mission, and we will always strive to uphold them.”

For those unfamiliar, Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play role-playing game with gacha elements, similar to Genshin Impact. Wuthering Waves released May 17 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, IOS, Android and PC.
