Should You Invest In Julie’s Gearworks

Yes, you should. But only if you have enough cash and upgrade materials to make use of a higher Facility Rank. Every time Julie’s Gearworks increases in a Facility Rank, she gets more experienced in her craft, allowing her to craft better weapons and brand your weapons with stronger seals.

Better services also come with a larger fee and increased requirement for upgraded materials. There is no point in increasing the Facility Rank if you can’t even purchase the upgrades you need at your current level.

The Professional Board, for example, is a six-star Aquanaut weapon that costs $140,000 to purchase. Even if you increase the Facility Level so much that Julie gets the ability to upgrade this weapon, there is no benefit if you can’t pay the base price of the weapon to begin with.

1. Craft Or Upgrade Weapons: Any time you use Julie’s services in any capacity, ranging from crafting a new weapon, strengthening an existing one, or adding a brand to some weapons, she’ll get a modest amount of experience to her Facility Rank.
2. Investment: If you’re not in need of Julie’s services, you can also directly sponsor her shop by selecting the investment option and depositing money. Any money you deposit will be added to the tally, meaning you don’t need to level up the Facility Rank in one go.

Is Investment Worth It?

It depends on whether or not you need to employ Julie’s services or not. If you have a weapon that you want to upgrade, spending money for that money will have a higher yield and increase Julie’s Facility Rank than if you just give her straight cash.

Say you invest $100 dollars to upgrade the Hero’s Bat from +1 to +20. This will be more effective at increasing Julie’s Facility Rank than if you just directly deposit $100 in her bank account. If, on the other hand, you’re all decked out in BIS gear at Julie’s current Facility Rank, and there is nothing to upgrade, investing in the shop to upgrade it to get access to the next tier of weapons is extremely worth it.
