IPO Listings Today: Motisons Jewellers Debuts With 98% Premium; Muthoot, Suraj Estate Down 5.5% Each

Shares of Motisons Jewellers Ltd on Tuesday listed with a huge premium of over 98 per cent against the issue price of Rs 55. However, Muthoot Microfin and Suraj Estate listed at 5.46 per cent and 5.55 per cent discount, respectively.

Motisons Jewellers’ stock made its debut at Rs 103.90, up 88.90 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. Later, it zoomed 98.34 per cent to Rs 109.09. At the NSE, the stock listed at Rs 109, reflecting a sharp jump of 98.18 per cent. The company’s market valuation stood at Rs 994.30 crore during the early trade.

Muthoot listed at Rs 275.10 on the BSE, a loss of 5.45 per cent as compared with the IPO price of 291. However, Suraj Estate listed at 340, a loss of 5.55 per cent as against IPO price of 360.

Motisons Jewellers’ initial public offer was subscribed a whopping 159.61 times on the last day of share sale on Wednesday. The Rs 151-crore initial share sale of the Jaipur-based retail jeweller company had a price range of Rs 52-55 a share.

The public issue was entirely a fresh issue of 2.74 crore equity shares with no Offer For Sale (OFS) component.

Suraj Estate Developers IPO fetched 15.65 times subscription on the closing day of bidding on Wednesday. The Initial Public Offer (IPO) received bids for 12,88,46,559 shares against 82,35,293 shares on offer, as per NSE data.

The portion for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) got subscribed 24.31 times while the quota for non-institutional investors received 18.90 times subscription. The category for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) fetched 9.30 times subscription. The company’s IPO had a price range of Rs 340-360 a share.

Muthoot Microfin IPO received 11.52 times subscription on the closing day of bidding on Wednesday. The Rs 960 crore-IPO attracted bids for 28,09,80,216 shares against 2,43,87,447 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

The category for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) got subscribed 17.47 times while the portion for non institutional investors received 13.20 times subscription. The portion for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) got subscribed 7.61 times. The initial public offer had a fresh issue of up to Rs 760 crore and an Offer for Sale of Rs 200 crore.
