How To Get Weapons

There are two major ways to get weapons in the Infection Free Zone: You can either loot weapons or produce them yourself. To loot weapons, you need to scavenge Police Stations. Most Police Stations have a high chance of dropping at least one weapon. The Police Stations are marked with a white badge icon. If your Squad doesn’t have any ranged weapons, they will equip the looted guns automatically, otherwise, you can order them to return the weapons to the Headquarters, or you can open the squad’s menu and switch each member’s weapon by dragging and dropping it into their combat.

Moving onto the second method, you will first need to adapt a building into a Research Station. Once the station is ready, you can click on the Chemistry icon in the top left corner of the screen, and start researching weapons. Keep in mind that this will take a bit longer, and you will need to spend resources to produce weapons. So, it’s easier to focus on looting weapons in the first place and unlock the production phase when you have a good amount of resources in hand.

Aside from weapons, Police Stations are also great places to loot ammunition. There are currently four different weapon types: Pistols, Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, and Shotguns, but they all use a similar ammo type, which makes it easier to loot for ammo.
