Getting too cold can be dangerous business, as you’ll begin to lose hearts if you stay too cold for too long. So, how do you survive?
Torches & Campfires
If you’re running around in the rain, and you’ve caught a chill, you can always pull out a torch to warm yourself up. You can also build a campfire for you, your friends, or your villagers to warm up. It’s necessary to have a campfire if you’re looking to settle down, but you’ll need something more if you want to survive in the snow.

Spicy Peppers
If you head over to the dry desert area on the map, you’re going to find some spicy peppers sitting around. Eat one of these, and you’ll be able to run around in very cold climates for two minutes. When you cook them as part of a meal, you’ll find the cold resistance will last a bit longer! So, eat up and carry a few in your pocket. With some food prepared, you can go on adventures in the snow! Never worry about those nasty cold environments again!
