Baking cookies is a new hobby in Destiny 2 for the next two months, but without a brief knowledge of ingredients, cookies, and the vendors’ favorite flavors, you might find yourself pretty confused about The Dawning event. And if you don’t have it memorized, you will have to travel back and forth many times between baking menus to find out who prefers what!

In order to make it much easier and more accessible for you, we have listed all the cookies here based on their required ingredients and the vendor to whom you should deliver them. We have also provided insight into how to collect each ingredient, except for Essence of Dawning, which you already know only drops for completing any kind of activity in the game.

Vex Milk Cookies – Vex

The first major ingredient for this type of cookie is Vex Milk, which can be farmed by killing Vex in any way. There are several ways to hunt Vex in Destiny 2, but the Vex Incursion zone in Neomuna is probably the best one. Keep in mind that multi-kills drop Vex Milk much faster. So, focus on getting double or triple kills with explosive weapons and abilities.

Ether Cane Cookies – Fallen

Next to Essence of Dawning, Ether Cane is the primary ingredient for all five cookies in this category, and it can be collected by killing the Fallen. Exodus Black in Nessus is a good spot for hunting Fallen and gaining some Ether Cane, especially if you are involved in a Public Event.

If you want to make Ikora and Lord Shaxx happy, you need to hunt some Cabal to get their special Oil! Neomuna is a perfect place to hunt for Cabal and Cabal Oil, especially if you participate in the Deny Access activity which spawns lots of Cabal in its first phase.

Extracted by killing Hive, Chitin Powder is the primary ingredient for the flavors that Eris Morn, Variks, Tess, and Fynch favor. Florescent Canal in Savathun’s Throne World is a rich source of Hive spawns. You can also complete some of The Witch Queen Strikes if you need Essence of Dawning as well as Chitin Powder.

There is no place better than Dreaming City to collect some Taken Butter by killing Taken enemies. Regarding the fact that Season of the Wish revolves around Dreaming City, you can also complete activities such as The Coil to make progress on the seasonal vendor’s table, while collecting some Taken, Vex, and Scorn ingredients.

Last but not least, you will need to face the Scorn. You can find plenty of Scorn enemies at Misama in Savathun’s Throne World. Killing them will drop Dark Ether Cane, which is the necessary ingredient to bake the cookies that Petra Venj, Crow, and Exo Stranger would love to taste.
