Baldur’s Gate 3: All Gear Dammon Can Craft

Dammon is an important character for Karlach, but he can also help your character out too. Here’s all the gear he can craft.

One choice you will be given is whether or not you should trust Kith’rak Voss, one of Vlaakith’s Red Dragon Riders. Considering where it seems his allegiance is and the fact that he’s Githyanki, some players may be hesitant to trust him. Here’s a guide to help you out.

Who Is Kith’rak Voss?

Baldur's Gate 3 - Kith'rak Voss

Kith’rak Voss is the Dragon Rider you will be introduced to when you first head toward the Githyanki Creche. You will quickly learn that he is high up in the Githyanki army, and is revered as a great Githyanki warrior. Lae’zel will be impressed that he is in the area and will want to speak to him. She may even get a little starstruck once she gets the opportunity to talk to him.

Once you speak to Vlaakith herself in the Githyanki Creche, Lae’zel will be betrayed by the Lich Queen. Interestingly, during your first Long Rest after this encounter, Kith’rak Voss will appear at your campsite. He will tell you that he has been the top knight serving Vlaakith since the very first rendition of the goddess. He will then tell you that he has also been betrayed by her, and he wants to free the person inside the Artefact. You can either tell him you will meet him in Baldur’s Gate, or you can kill him then.

Can You Trust Kith’rak Voss?

If you choose to meet him in Baldur’s Gate to see what he has to say, you will learn on the way there that the Astral Prism contains Orpheus, the true ruler of the Githyanki. According to The Emperor, Orpheus is evil; however, according to Kith’rak, he is good. Kith’rak will inform you that he was the one to help Vlaakith imprison Orpheus in the Astral Prism, and he has since realized that Orpheus is the one who cares about the Githyanki, not Vlaakith. Therefore, he wants your help to free Orpheus and save the Githyanki. He will tell you that Orpheus will be able to help in your battle against the Elder Brain.

If you trust Kith’rak and free Orpheus, you will have them both as allies during the final battle. However, this task is easier said than done. You will either need to make a deal with Raphael or sneak into the House of Hope and steal the Orphic Hammer. In the end, choosing to trust Kith’rak Voss is up to you. However, it seems that trusting him will give you more benefits than killing him does. Even if you don’t make the deal with Raphael, Kith’rak will still give you his powerful sword in good faith.
