The new season of Clash Royale introduced Goblin Barrel Evolution last week, so it’s no surprise to see that we’re receiving multiple Goblin-themed events throughout the season. While last week’s event was a draft to let you get creative with a new Evolution card, this week’s Goblin Power event ditches all Evolutions in favor of new passive skills for all Goblin cards.

From Dart Goblin to Goblin Hut, every Goblin variant now has a special skill, and you don’t even have to wait for them to be activated, as they are built-in and always available. For example, the Spear Goblins are now able to throw Zap-based spears that spawn a Zap over the target after each hit. On the other hand, the Goblins card is upgraded by invisibility much similar to that of Royal Ghost.

Best Decks For Goblin Power Event

As all Goblin cards spawn with a new ability and you can indeed create a full deck with all Goblin variants, there is no need to think a lot to conclude that it will work pretty well. After all, we rather use cards that have some special abilities rather than cards that represent their base stats, especially knowing that there are no Evolutions in this event.

However, there are still troops that could be useful in a Goblin-heavy deck, especially if you can find the ones that feature similar powers to the currently upgraded Goblins.

All-Goblin Deck

Using this deck is pretty straightforward. Goblin Barrel serves as a hit-guaranteed unit as long as your opponent does not have any spells to deny it. Goblin Giant is a fast tanky unit capable of dealing with the spams around it thanks to its Spear Goblin companions on the back that now deal Zap damage.

Goblin Cage spawns two Goblins now and has a temporary shield that goes off after the first hit. Goblin Hut also has the same shield on, which protects it against the first hit, no matter how big it is. Dart Goblin is better save for the defensive scenarios.

This deck features some customizations over the base deck above, which allows it to deny a full-Goblin deck. The Bomb Tower is a major piece of defense here to deal with tons of Goblin spam, while Barbarian Barrel does the same for any potential Goblin Barrel attack from the opposing side.

Royal Ghost can serve as a great pushing unit as it spawns invisible similar to the event’s Goblins. Combining Royal Ghost with Goblin Giant creates a powerful attacker duo that can deal a significant amount of damage to the enemy’s structures and crown towers.
