Ancestor Skills in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are power skills you can only obtain by finding them in the overworld. Unlike regular skills that you get by spending Skill points, these skills need to be found to be unlocked. Although these skills are always marked on the map with a glowing pink marker, they can be surprisingly difficult to reach as they’re always well hidden.

The pink marker indicating the presence of the Ghost Strike Ancestor skill leads players to a mountain north of the Upper Plains, a place called the First Zakru. The marker ends directly above the mountain, but the Sarentu Grounds with the skill are not above the mountain; it’s inside.
Where To Find Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill
To find your way inside the mountain, here is what you need to do.
The entrance to the cave leading towards the Ancestor skill is on the mountain’s surface. Land on top of the mountain where the pink map marker is and look for a painted blue bird symbol on the cliffside. The entrance is directly to the symbol’s right, leading down to the depths. There is also a Windswept Kite, a collectible you need for the “Wind Will Carry Us” quest, directly above the cave entrance.
Inside the cave, you’ll only find a pond of water and no other path forward. Dive into the water and look for a small opening at the bottom of the pond you can swim through (shown in the picture above).
Go through the hole and emerge at the other side. Rise from the water, and you’ll find yourself in a cave with glowing pink mushrooms. Use the mushrooms as stepping stones to navigate to the other side of the cave.
There is another small opening at the far end of this chamber that’s easy to miss. Crouch under this opening to get to the other side. Follow the path, and you’ll enter a new chamber after passing through a small tunnel.
A Tsaryu Sapling is directly to the right as soon as you enter the third chamber. At the end of the cave, you’ll find the large pink and purple bulb containing the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill. Interact with one of the glowing vines to receive the skill.
