The Alone in the Dark remake has seen its fair share of delays from when it was first teased by THQ Nordic back in 2022. Thankfully, we had the demo to keep us busy since then and the new reimagining of the iconic 1992 survival-horror classic finally has a release date of March, 20th, 2024.

Alone in the Dark Standard Edition Pre-Order
In this love letter to the 1992 original, THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive present a re-imagination of the classic survival horror game, Alone in the Dark. Set in the gothic American South, you control one of two protagonists and play as Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood to explore environments, fight monsters, solve puzzles, and uncover the true secret of Derceto Manor.

If you’re up for plenty of spooky adventures, the Alone in the Dark 2024 reimaged version of the heart-pumping classic horror that has us too afraid to go to bed back in the 90s is sure to set our blood pressure soaring yet again. With plenty of exploration around the mysterious Derceto Manor and tense dialogue between Edward and Emily, this dark puzzle-solving tale will see you getting lost in dark, creepy environments.
The standard edition doesn’t have any of the bells and whistles that the other editions do, but if you pre-order it, you do get a tasty little bonus in the form of the Derceto 1992 costume pack. Alone in the Dark Deluxe Edition Pre-Order
The Digital Deluxe version is a little bit more at $69 so if you’re looking for more bang for your buck, this is a pretty good price for only $10 more. The Deluxe Edition comes with everything that’s included in the Standard Edition, as well as the Vintage Horror Filter Pack and the Director’s Commentary Mode.

Finally, the massive Collector’s Edition of Alone in the Dark will have you shelling out $200 so this is certainly one for die-hard fans. This edition is limited to 5,000 units worldwide so you might struggle to get your hands on one, but when they are in stock and available, you can pick up this beefy edition at the THQ Nordic Store, Amazon, and Best Buy.
